Value Propositions: Theory and cases. Episode 21. Example 7. Launching a new agriculture product in Central America. Part A
Adorable readers: Today we will start with our seventh and last example about designing and performing customer value propositions. This case is about a food security product. Our entrepreneurs are three agro-investors who have detected certain territories between Guatemala and Panama suitable for growing olive cultivars. The agro specialists hold at least 30 years of experience in the value chain of olive oil production, and they want our help to build a CVP that may be acceptable for the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program.

With today’s publication, we are beginning our road map to understand the philosophy, the rationale behind the project, and the corporate strategy basics about what to do with this project in the region. It is a soft and short set of slides since we will dig deeper into the strategic analysis next week.

In addition, this is just the beginning of our research regarding the Mediterranean Diet, which is abundant in minimally processed plant-based foods, and rich in olive oil that seems to fulfill the best standards for our health. At the moment this material is simply the starting point of a wonderful case that will illustrate the dimension of helping poor populations to eat well. The slides are self-explanatory.
