Value Propositions: Theory and cases. Episode 23.  Strategic Reflections About Value Propositions. Part I: Examples 1 to 3

Welcome to the Olympic Games 2024. Today the world has been observing how the city of the lights decided to give a “bienvenue” to a magnificent sportive event every 4 years. The French did it in such a different way this year. Historically, the French opened a new door to celebrate sports. Les Jeux Olympiques de 2024 ont amené la Seine à Paris alors que la ville jouait pour partager une fête avec ses habitants. There were certain sections of the show that I didn´t like because I am a very traditional conservative heterosexual person. Nevertheless, the ceremony was full of symbols about Paris and its history.

Aujourd’hui j’aimerais partager avec vous les réflexions stratégiques de tout ce travail que nous avons développé pour vous depuis janvier 2024. All the strategic reflections are included in the next set of slides. We have prepared our material for examples 1, 2, and 3. Feel free to download, print, and share this material, which is self-explanatory. No homework for you this weekend.

All the examples that we have designed are version 1.0. We might be wrong. And it is OK. It is just the first version. We are obliged to test our CVP 1.0 and learn. I wanted to show you this today. If we don´t make missteps in our CVP version 1.0, I would be very worried and alarmed for you. We are obliged to adjust the CVPs as many times as possible. To refine the CVP in terms of transformational elements of value (to guide and improve the client’s well-being) and not based on functional elements of value is the message of this sage for you. We are here in this world not to cash out dumping others into the trash, but to reach self-transcendence, provide life-changing experiences, and procure a social impact for humans living together in troubled societies.

All countries in the world are facing the consequences of the mistakes of our history. While some nations face extreme poverty, famine, wars, unfairnesses, and tremendous ideological unfaithfulness in people; other developed nations are facing climate change, technological excesses, addictions, and indifference. Money should be the reward for the good people of this planet to live comfortably. I have always believed that money overflows if you do good with your daily work. The economic rewards come naturally if you work hard, no matter what; even if you have to wait for years to attain your success. It is our aim to help others who live in disgrace, to aid them to leave out of their precarious conditions. A well-done CVP will always show you additional products, services, or projects. Remember, many times when doing CVPs, or in the process of adjusting them, we will always discover adjacencies or the real causes of problems and that is the blessing of learning to design CVPs.

We are commanded to open our eyes, our ears, and our hearts: If we just listen carefully to the pains of the people. If we just observe with the eyes of goodness what is damaging them; and if we feel the needs and wants of others with a heart made of fraternal love. Then and only then our CVPs will guide us to solve the real problems of people, and not to make money using their needs and wants.

Announcement.
With this episode 23, we are sharing the core of our saga. “We are so optimistic, we are quite near to finish. “Value Propositions: Theory and Cases” will finish on August 9th. Next Friday we will proceed with the strategic reflections of examples 4 to 7. I have been requested to offer an economic saga about Central America. Consequently, our next saga of the year will be about the progression of the economic value of Central America, and we are more than cheerful and joyful about this change. Stay tuned for more information during the following days.

Musical Section.
This saga is about improvement, amelioration, upgrading, and the advancement required in the theory and practice of value propositions. Value propositions are the first step in our business modeling frameworks. If the value proposition is improper, then our business model is mistaken. But the beauty of testing our CVPs is the blessing to correct any theoretical or practical error. Please reflect on defeats. Any lucky failure means an opportunity to redraft our ideas, by checking with our potential clients what they really want or need. Any lucky failure also discloses that we must reframe the priorities (pain relievers and gain creators) because it does not add any good to society. In addition, we have to help our clients too. We are obliged to assist them to be judicious and conscious about their choices in the best possible way. The standout of this saga is an opportunity to reframe our paradigms and learn to adjust the sails of our CVPs as many times as possible, before launching our business models into reality.

Aujourd´hui is about the Jeux Olympiques of 2024. We will share her magnificent voice. I have no words to explain the thankfulness for Celine Dion here, interpreting the Hymne to Love from Edith Piaf. Enjoy.

Hymne to Love Lyrics:
Le ciel bleu sur nous peut s’effondrer
Et la Terre peut bien s’écrouler
Peu m’importe si tu m’aimes
Je me fous du monde entier…
