Central America: A Quest for the Progression of Economic Value. Season I. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. Episode 9 is postponed for next week

Dear readers:
For those of you who follow me on social media, you have already acknowledged why I have postponed Episode 9 for next week. Officially, with this post, we are explaining why.

To write about Emperor Charles V’s religious agenda conveys to touch the Spanish Inquisition. We can´t take it lightly. So we have changed again our outline, and we will dedicate the rest of the year to digging deeper into the economic philosophy of the Inquisition and how this religious context became the backbone of Latin American Economic Development. The reign of terror in Roman Spanish inquisitorial terms provoked a specific type of economic regime in Spanish America, and we are going to explore the Inquisition from the point of view of corporate strategy. You will be amazed by our strategic discoveries that will be published during the next 4 weeks.

In the meantime, we want to share the bibliography that we are studying and analyzing. We are trying to read as much as we can, discerning from various sources. We have chosen the best books (from excellent researchers) and we have added supplementary ones. From the list of 34 books listed on slides 6 and 7, the ones that are required to understand the Inquisition appear on slide 6. We invite you to purchase or download the free versions of these books on the Internet. You need to read at least one of the core books of Henry Kamen, Edward Peters, Helen Rawlings, and Henry Charles Lea (I am reviewing this at the moment).

The horror of the Inquisition was occurring in Europe while America was being conquered and colonized. All the books we are sharing can offer you most of the truth of what occurred under Isabella and Ferdinand’s mandate, and why Charles V (their grandson) was unable to stop it. Moreover, what concerns us is how the Spanish Inquisition modeled the economic systems of Central America. Please read at least one of these books. Do not stay on the superficial scope of the Inquisition. We will repeat again: we encourage you to read at least one of these books; particularly if you are an economist, a corporate strategist, or someone who dedicates his/her life to decision-making in government policies. Slide 6 is the core textbook list for the following episodes. The horror of the Inquisition was occurring in Europe while America was being conquered and colonized. In Latin America, a system of a religiously persecuted society under a framework of inequality marked our first economic steps toward prosperity. Download, read, and print the following document in PDF (for better clarity) to never forget where are we coming from.

Stay tuned, see you next week. Blessings and thank you for your patience.
