When in Cardiff: A Bonus Material – The Role of the Government.
Good day!
Hope all of you are enjoying the pleasant weather of Cardiff. In the meantime, there is something we would like to share about the Moral Role of the Government. The following slides are based on an extract of chapter 21 “The New Moral Imperative of Business”, from the book Business Ethics, 4th Edition, by Richard T. De George. You can read his CV by clicking here: Richard T. De George Biography. Professor T. de George has published more than 20 books, hundreds of papers and publications, and we are not wrong to cite this chapter of his book about the Role of The Government. Professor T. de George thoughts are an outstanding guide to understand the context of the role of the Government when we do corporate strategy for beautiful businesses with ethics at the core. The first slides are literally from his book and the last two slides are our own reflection of the material we lately have been sharing applied to the role of the government.

In addition, it is very important that you understand our point of view has nothing to do with political extremes of any type. We believe in moderation and balance. And we can´t compromise our values or ethical beliefs when it comes to politics. Moreover, we can´t support political flags of any type, because that is not our domain of specialization. We are advisors in corporate strategy. We care about beautiful businesses growth, and we wisely share with you ideal “ideas” on how beautiful businesses thrive in societies where ethical values are promoted. There are fair governments which help businesses (SMEs and Corporates) to thrive without losing their ethical grounds.
Wishing you a lovely day. Next week we will start with The Blue Ocean Strategy. Stay tuned!
Thank you.
