Entrepreneurs without Money XXX: El Salvador possible entrepreneurship journey with China. We are almost done…

As I promised in my last post, this week we will publish three times. Let´s continue, with the episode number 30 (or XXX):

The Salvadoran possible entrepreneurship journey with China” is a new project we have been using to explain the Entrepreneurial Contextual Analysis. The Entrepreneurial contextual analysis is just the first required stepThis tool is extremely useful when doing the preliminary strategic decision making when it comes to new endeavors or innovation projects or entrepreneurial adventures. questions onlyThis tool can be broken down using several perspectives or contexts. We have explored twelve contexts up to this day.  For each context, we have to ask ourselves questions and answer them. For those of you who are new to my blog, remember, the entrepreneurial contextual analysis provides thirteen contexts which are basic to analyze, and each context must be scrutinized with real information and data, trying to simplify the amplitude or profoundness of our information. Depending on the time scope impact we have (short, medium and long-term) we can add more contexts. For this particular example, I did not add a fourteenth context, which is the religious one. But the religious one is one of the priorities to inspect when the two countries have dissimilar and contrasting faiths.  When commercial relations are affected by divergent ideologies, it is smart to add a fifteenth context, the ideology.

Up to this day, we have given you the basic questions we must ask ourselves (for this particular project El Salvador-China) in each of the following contexts:

  1. Temporal Context – done outdoor movie
  2. Industry Context – done
  3. Technology Context – done
  4. Social Context – done
  5. Institutional Policy Context – done
  6. Organizational Context – done
  7. Geographic Context – done
  8. Spatial Context – done
  9. Cultural Context – done
  10. Political Context – done
  11. Environmental Context – done
  12. Ethical Context – done
  13. Financial Context – on my next post.

Before doing the financial context questions (we will do it on our next post), let me remind you why do we have to visit each of the latter contexts. The whole idea is to do assign a relative weight or value to the answers to each of the questions from each of the contexts.  Later on, we have to process the data. And this will give us a number of points for each of the contexts. The number of points must range from a minimum to a maximum. Let´s say from zero to 10.  After some basic calculus,  and once we have a final weighted average value for each of the contexts we need to continue to proceed to create a radar chart.

In the case of El Salvador, since we are analyzing the project: “Possible Commercial Relations” or entrepreneurship journey with China, we can´t do in “absolute terms” only. We also have to compare the China Radar chart with other countries. Let´s say we decide to compare our China radar chart with the top countries from Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index 2017.

CORRUPTION.

Only by establishing a comparison with other countries, we will be able to decide if China is the best one for establishing commercial relations and receive cooperation aid. CPI chart Transparency International 2017.jpgBy using the entrepreneurial contextual analysis, we can be sure that we are considering all the basic perspectives, explained in radar charts, and we can compare China radar chart with other different “good ethical” countries radar charts. This will help us to decide with “awe”. Each country will have a different radar chart, and we will be able to see which one is better for us, based on ethical standards. The radar chart graphs will help us to understand the most convenient country for a strategic alliance in the future. In addition, we will be able to negotiate in terms of contexts and see which ones are non-negotiable, and which ones are relatively less important for our country priorities. We also will be able to position ourselves in terms of the priority interests for us and understand the interests of the other country which is offering help. At the end of the day, we will benefit our country strategically with a long-lasting vision. And as entrepreneurs without money, as a cherry on top of the cream, our quest to raise our ethical standards, will be fulfilled. Please remember the entrepreneurial contextual analysis is the equivalent of reading the index before reading a book. This is just our initial preliminary analysis.

On my next publication, we will continue with the last of the contexts: The Financial context. Stay tuned! Thank you for reading me and for holding on to this blog, despite my lack of resources and pity situation with the bullying I live in town.  To my beau Alejandro Guillermo Lozano Artolachipi, I am waiting for you. I love you with all my soul. Don´t forget to read my tweets at @eliescalantech. And… don´t forget to save the bees!
