As promised find below my lecture about the UBI and why we believe is an avarice measure masked under a mercy strategy. Please print the following material, or download it in PDF format. And read it over the weekend. I encourage you to see it from the point of view of a merciful leader.
Would you rather provide an insufficient UBI to all which will sink (or break the finances) of your government in 4 months, than to target and select all individuals who are not able to educate by themselves, to provide them integral quality education, so they can earn in some years from now, more than 20 or 50 or 100 times the UBI? Would you rather provide universal health systems and programs for all your citizens (regardless of the social situation) in order to have a healed and tip-top restored society? Would you rather invest in a beautiful and impressive entrepreneurship ecosystem, where entrepreneurs of every social class will learn to flourish as future enterprises? Would you rather spend your fortune in improving the essence of the brain’s thoughts of a population? Would you rather spend your prosperity in changing the minds of people so they can use “the education to become ethical, with a pure heart and with integral brains”? Would you rather fund the goodness of God in people that will produce wealth for sharing what they received, that will be fair and gentle, that will create more jobs for the next generations to come, that will care for the environment and will protect the beauty of God in the planet?
The answer is yours.

Mercy is not just as an absence of avarice, but rather the core of generosity and contentment as “givers”. Mercy is not giving of what you have left but giving of what you have with generosity. Mercy is beyond clemency or compassionate treatment or a disposition to be kind and forgiving towards those who have offended us. Mercy doesn´t end with giving freely and wholeheartedly, but it is characterized by actions of providing and seeking not just to alleviate or relieve the difficult situation of the receiver, but to help them with goodwill and benevolence for the long run to be better off than when you found them. Mercy has an impact effect on the multiplication of blessings.
