Congratulations to all the teams…
Hello… I hope you had a beautiful and joyful Christmas day. All the teams are now in Melbourne. Akzo Nobel (the Dutch team) is almost there too. Congratulations on arriving safely and in one piece.
We have finished the theme of “Resources and Capabilities Analysis” and we have to recharge batteries for next Leg 4: From Melbourne to Hong Kong, which will start next January 2nd, 2018.
I just wish to leave you with a beautiful picture of some members of my family, my mother Concepción Eleonora de Escalante, my little niece Taty (the eldest kid of my sister Tatiana), and me (with the silvery scarf). You can see here three women from my family of three different generations (Baby Boomers, Generation X and Generation Z), a clash of three generations. And this picture inspired me to write to you about the theme of the “clash of generations”. It is the bonus topic I will write to you during the week, how the difference between generations is affecting everything at the moment, and specifically our purpose on the planet. It doesn´t matter if you are Asian, European, American, or Latino. We are now struggling with how to evolve for the future because of the clash of generations… I am thinking about this because, I hope to marry, and I hope to have babies. I wish to have babies soon as you can´t imagine. I wonder, what type of world are we going to leave to our future babies? and That is my inspiration for the week’s writings.

Have a beautiful day. Thank you.
